Thursday was the 40th Anniversary of "Earth Day" around the world. That tends to be a little lower on the radar for most of us because it is so heavily dominated by the Left. To be sure, there is much that is off-beat and even offensive about "Earth Day", including the idea that this is the only home we'll ever know, so we have to keep it clean. For believers, there is an obvious disconnect there. Just the same, we do have an obligation toward the planet God has given us to manage. We are stewards of our finances, our families, our very lives...and our environment. We should be the first to pick up the trash, to keep things clean and to properly use and manage the earth. We won't always agree as to what that means, and we will oppose some of the "green" measures that violate our God-given rights and responsibilities, but we should be good stewards of the environment. God gave us dominion over it. That responsibility still stands.
